Welcome to Joe Bannister

it was the best attended meeting in the short history of Jubilee Baptist Church with just over 200 people attending – we were so glad that the weather was good for us, so we could have the patio doors open with a number of people sitting outside!

The meeting was chaired by the former moderator of Jubilee Baptist the Rev David Steere, who led the induction of Joe Bannister into the Pastorate of the Church, the message was the brought by Mr Jon Steed of the Baptist Church at Stoke Ash (where Joe and his wife Jules used to be members) and was based around the text of Joshua Ch 1 v9 ‘This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.’

A very encouraging, blest and tiring day.
