Search (advanced)

Although every page on this website has a Search box at the top left, it only searches certain web pages and is not very effective. The facility on this page will take you to a much more powerful search engine.

As well as indexing all the words on this website, it also indexes all the words in all the linked documents. Thus, for example, you can search Parish Council Minutes for any specific topic using a suitable choice of keywords. However, the indexing is only carried out once a week so the most recent pages and documents won't have been indexed.

The link below will take you to a new window where you can start searching. The results will appear in the same window as will the target page or document when you select a search result. Use the Back button in your browser to return to the Search page. Close the window to return to this page.

Once on the Search page, you will be able to select:

• Simple Search - looks for all instances of the keywords you give it
• Advanced Search - Enables you to be more precise about what to search for
• Site Map - Maps all the pages on this website
• Index - Provides an index to every word on this site and linked documents
• Search Tips - Help on how to perform complex searches
• Web - By checking this box, your words will be searched across the Internet.

I have tested it as best I can but, for a brief period, I have added a Comment facility to this page so you can let me know of any issues or problems.
