Football Club

Occold Football Club has been established for many years, and has a strong connection with the village during that time, despite not playing within the village boundaries for several years now. The club is aimed at adults so 16/17 years upwards - men's Sunday football!

2013 has been a transition year. Having played and managed the club successfully for many years, Stephen Hunt passed on the management reins and has taken on the chairmanship of the club. Adam Chittock, alumni of the Primary School and Occoldian of many years has taken over as manager and several new faces have complimented the existing core members of the squad. The team resigned from the diminishing South Norfolk League and were elected to the Bury and District Sunday League for this season, where we face new clubs and travel to new grounds.

Occold FC play their home games at Kerrison in Thorndon on Sunday mornings at 10.30am and are always looking for players, supporters and anyone who would like to get involved with supporting the village team.
