 In August 2011 the Village Store, previously run by Darren Hayward, landlord of The Black Horse, was handed over to be operated as a Community Shop. Trading quickly developed beyond expectations and the Store has gone from strength to strength ever since. It carries a wide range of stock, mostly as requested by local users including quality frozen fish from Lowestoft, fresh-baked bread from Tudor Bakehouse on Fridays and Saturdays, and a selection of excellent patés.
